Observation of an Oral Fistula in the Eurasian Coot (Fulica Atra) in La Grajera dam, Logroño

Abstract

This note reports an observation made at 5:00 p.m. on 28 May 2022 at the Grajera Reservoir of a Common Coot, Fulica atra, presenting an oral fistula (Photos 1 and 2). The bird was detected and observed in good body condition and did not display any behaviour suggesting that it was impaired in feeding.
