Las urgencias y emergencias sanitarias en la pandemia de la COVID-19 en La Rioja

Abstract

The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has posed a challenge to hospital and out-ofhospital emergency departments that have had to adapt quickly to respond to a serious health crisis, in a scenario of great uncertainty that is changing day by day. Due to the coincidence in time of numerous patients with severe infections that required strict isolation to avoid contagion, constant organizational changes were required, as well as the creation of regulation systems between intra-hospital and extra-hospital devices to maximize health care capacity without putting the health of patients and professionals at risk.
