Radiology is a very important part in the management of the patient with COVID-19 pneumonia. Moreover, the rapid progress in the knowledge of this disease has allowed establishing an adequate use of imaging tests as well as correlating the findings with the pathophysiology of the disease. Therefore, it is very useful for the health professional to have certain knowledge about its manifestations, evolution and possible imaging complications. The two tools to be used are the chest X-ray and thoracic computed tomography, each with its corresponding indications.
